In my first year, I chose not to pay myself a salary. Instead, every dollar went to charity. I was building something bigger than a business—I was building a purpose.

After years of hustle and evolution, I found my rhythm. I returned to full and partial event planning—this time with balance. I'm having fun, doing meaningful work, and living my most creative life, surrounded by the best clients I could ask for.

As the business gained momentum, the pandemic hit. I quickly pivoted to balloons, backdrops, and event activations—working nonstop and nearing burnout.

I did some soul-searching and realized I wanted to blend creativity, purpose, and community. So I took a leap and started an event planning business with a charitable twist—beginning with small craft events and fundraisers.

After five wonderful years at home raising my daughter, I was ready for my next chapter. I landed a job at a startup, excited to dive back into the workforce. But just three months in, I left—burned out, in tears, and questioning if stepping away to raise my child had cost me my career.
