Oink, Moo, Gobble Gobble!
Farm theme is one of the most requested party themes we have received over the years and one of my favorite themes to plan. We are sharing some of the elements for several farm parties WE created over the last year or so.
Backdrop Ideas
The rounded stand is always a fan favorite. Add a custom sign, some balloons and a bale of hay and you have an IG worthy backdrop.
We built this adorable farm door to sit on a table. For this party WE styled it for a sweets table.
For a softer farm party you can’t go wrong with pinks. WE custom build this pink farm door and clients LOVED it. (Note: WE sold this backdrop to another Chgo party planner so we do not offer it as a rental anymore)
Sweets
I can’t even with this cake. This one is my favorite cow / farm themed cake created by our pastry chef Little Frosting Bake Shop.
This cake is a little more chic and definitely a classic. Also created by our pastry chef A Little Frosting Bake Shop.
I can’t take credit for these as one of my clients made these (table styled by us)but I think they are just adorable. Cupcakes are always a better option for the guest to enjoy and then you can leave the cake for the smash cake photos.
Favors ideas
Personally I love a themed favor that guests can enjoy during the party. For this Chicago based party WE created a favor wall that greeted guests as they walked in. Kids and adult could get into the theme of the party by wearing a bandana. (This is our peg favor wall rental)
Same party as the bandana favor wall. Client also wanted a traditional favor for guests to take home so we created a family gift. Each box included mini corn bread muffin and honey butter from Little Frosting Bakeshop.
Loved this favor wall. This party had a lot of little kids so we included a cute themed toy for each guest to take home with an adorable Party Animal Sign. (This is our peg favor wall rental)
Can never go wrong with bandanas at a farm party!
Decor ideas
Custom Signage at the bar and custom coasters. WE love to add personalized touches to each party. WE hand painted the barn onto the sign to match the logo.
This balloon pig was so much fun to create. Honestly I wasn’t sure how it would turn out but it very quickly became one of my favorite elements of this event.
