Giddy Up! This may be my favorite theme yet to plan! WESTERN GOTHIC!
WE had so much fun creating the décor for the Chicago Pinterest Halloween Party. The backdrop WE created for this event is by far one of my favorite backdrops of all time. In case ya’ll didn’t know, Halloween is my favorite time of year and this theme brought me so much joy to plan and create!

THE BACKDROP
I love everything about this backdrop. Western Gothic is a 2024 Pinterest Predicts trend in the home decor category so we created a lounge-y “saloon” feel complete with an old timey photo booth and hat stands for guests to use.
THE OFFICE DECOR
Since this is an office in downtown Chicago and most of the decor stays up for the month, we need to make sure the office stays functionable. I did this by adding decor to each area and swapping out their everyday pillows and books with themed decor.
For event day I brought in 2 themed lounge areas. I added leather studded couches and I hand made coffee tables out of authentic whiskey barrels.
For all their events I like to decorate the two arch ways that lead from the front to the back of the office. It makes a huge impact in the space as it is the center of the office. I added black cheesecloth, floral in the brand colors and of course bendable skeletons. My amazing assistant came up with the idea to add real branches and honestly it took it to the next level!

THE GAMES
Pinterest loves activities so we custom built a “giddy up” boot/ring toss and branded tic tac toe with custom 3d printed skulls with cowboy hats with the P logo.
THE CRAFT
The craft for this event was a Stud-it-yourself station. We brought Leigh from Indigo & Violet to lead this project. I had my doubts on this project but it was a HUGE hit and almost every single person participated.
Working with Chicago Pinterest as their corporate event planner brings me so much joy as their events allow me to utilize every bit of my creativity.
